Returns and Refunds
Your happiness is our number one priority at Sound-Tees.com.au. Please find below a guide on our procedure for dealing with any damaged or faulty item you may receive:
Dead on arrival
Should you receive an item that is damaged or faulty upon arrival, please contact our office as soon as possible (preferably within 14 days), so that we may arrange a prompt replacement at our expense or a refund. In most cases, it will be necessary to retrieve the faulty or damaged item from you, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Faulty after arrival
Should a product cease to work at a later date but within a timeframe reasonable to the amount of use, cost and quality of the item, Sound-Tees.com.au will arrange for replacement goods, store credit or a refund, dependent upon the customer’s preference. In most cases, this period will not exceed 12 months for electrical goods or 3 months for other items. Other cases will be assessed on merit. Please note that it may be necessary to retrieve the item from you, to assess the item for fault. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that goods have been used according to manufacturer instructions and not damaged by being used in a way that they were not intended to be used. All costs in retrieving and replacing faulty items are borne by Sound-Tees.com.au. Should our customer service team deem that an item is not faulty and is not covered by a warranty, Sound-Tees.com.au may refuse to provide a replacement or refund.
In some cases, it may be necessary to return goods to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. In this event, all costs will be borne by Sound-Tees.com.au. Where possible, it is preferred to have damaged or faulty items returned in their original packaging.
Cancelled or unwanted items
Orders may be cancelled or amended at any time up until dispatch occurs. It is not possible to cancel an order once goods have left our warehouse. Sound-Tees.com.au is not liable to refund or exchange goods where a customer has had a change of mind for any reason.
Exchange of items
Sound-Tees.com.au will happily exchange an item, subject to the availability of stock. The customer is liable for all shipping charges and for ensuring the safe return of the unused and unopened item that is being exchanged. Please contact our office to make arrangements.
Making a Return
Faulty or damaged items: please contact our office on 03 9015 SOUND (7686). We endeavour to deal with all returns and exchanges within two weeks, allowing for the transit time of inbound goods.
Return policy
Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 and state fair trading legislation, we will only refund you when: are or become defective through no fault of the buyer; are not for the purpose stated or the purpose the buyer made known to us; don’t match the description or sample; or have defects that were not obvious or that does not bring to the buyer's attention. We offer a 14 days exchange or refund policy, return the item to us within 14 days of delivery and we will offer you a replacement item or a full refund of the SELL price, NOT INCLUDE the Postage and Handling Fee. However, we cannot refund if the buyers change their mind.
